Is Evangelist Eucharia Anunobi hoping to contest for Miss Nigeria competition? (LOOK)
By:

On: 08:32
Back in the days, most people do everything possible to add up to their ages just to claim being matured, but that is gradually fading away nowadays.
The menace of age reduction almost started in the Nigerian civil service where most workers try to stay longer in service after clocking the retirement age of 60 or 35 years in service.
The menace then moved to the football profession where some Nigerian footballers have a 'football age' with the hope of playing in Europe by claiming a far younger age.
For now, the virus of age reduction is like a stiff competition between the civil service in Nigeria and Nigerian footballers.
The entertainment industry might soon join the club of age reduction bug in Nigeria.
Few days ago, 'bad girl' actress turned Evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi added a year and her fans sent birthday wishes to her.
In her official biography, her date of birth reads 'May 25, 1965', but Evangelist Eucharia has denied being 48.
According to the Imo State-born screen diva, "yes, I appreciate the messages I received as I celebrated my birthday but took exception to the wrong information that am 48 years old. Where on earth did you guys get such an age from for me?
"I would like to state here, without mincing words, that am not 48 years, even my mother was not married to my dad as at 48 years ago, and she is even yet to be 60 years."
The question now is, how old is Evangelist Eucharia Anunobi? Is she hoping to contest for Miss Nigeria competition?

Dressed in all white with his left arm bandaged, the 28 year old, who is accused of murdering Lee Rigby, 25, a fortnight ago, stood in the dock flanked by two police officers and a prison guard. As he arrived in the courtroom he appeared to blow a kiss to a friend in the public gallery, gripped a copy of the Koran throughout and refused to stand in the dock.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey within 48 hours. Earlier he was swept into Westminster Magistrates Court in an armoured vehicle led by a police convoy. A number of armed officers formed a ring of steel and shut off roads around the court in central London.
Meanwhile the other key suspect in the Drummer Rigby case refused to appear at the Old Bailey today. Michael Adebowale, 22, told prison staff he did not want to go on video link to the court for a statutory bail hearing.

Beautiful Baby born with teeth (LOOK)

A beautiful baby girl is all smiles after being born with a pair of front teeth.
Newborn Imogen Elliot, from South Wales, was born with a pair of pearly whites in her lower jaw – to the amazement of her mother, Stacey Lewis, 24.
The two-week-old left midwives at the Royal Gwent Hospital, in Newport, baffled as they noticed the pair of natal teeth, usually baby teeth which have come through early.
Natal teeth – which happen in just one in every 2,000 babies – are teeth that are present when the baby is born and are usually baby teeth which have come through early.
The teeth are sometimes loose because the root is not completely developed, and have to be removed, but little Imogen's teeth were given the all-clear.
Mother Stacey Lewis said: 'As soon as Imogen was born, the midwives put her on my chest and I spotted them straight away.
'They're pretty noticeable- and I certainly wasn't expecting my baby to be born with teeth! I don't think the midwives knew what to say – they had never seen anything like it before.'
Midwives would not let the new family leave the hospital until they had spoken to a specialist pediatrician. When they confirmed the teeth were secure they were told they could go home.
Father Scott Elliott, 27, said: 'We were worried the teeth might be loose, but she was checked out by a specialist who said she was fine.'
Ms Lewis added: 'All these different midwives kept popping in and asking to see 'the baby with the teeth', it was funny.
'Our family were really shocked – they had never even heard of it before. That's when we realised how rare it is.
'We'll be booking her in for her first dental appointment soon, just to make sure they are growing properly.'
Mother-Daughter Porn Duo Seek Father-Son Sex Scene Partners

A mother and daughter duo who make porn films together are looking for a father-son team willing to join them on camera.
Jessica Sexxxton, 56, and her daughter, Monica, 22, have been shooting sex scenes together for the last 18 months for their own self-titled website, sometimes sharing the same partner, but not at the same time and never with each other -- a technicality that keeps their films from being legally considered incest.
Now the Tampa, Fla.-based twosome are hoping to take their unorthodox relationship to the next level, with a nationwide search for a real father and son willing to shoot a porn film scene with them.
"It's something we've considered for a while," Jessica Sexxxton told The Huffington Post. "We once dated brothers in real life on and off for a couple of years. They were closer to [Monica's] age, but we haven't done a father and son in real life or on camera."
Like the Sexxxtons, the father and son won't have sex with each other, but Monica already has the scenario for this sordid family affair in mind.
"Something like, 'Hey Dad, my girlfriend's got a hot mom,'" Monica hypothesized to HuffPost. "But we'd probably cater to the fantasy by having the father have sex with me."
The Sexxxtons tried casting a scene before using non-related actors as the father and son, but Monica said she didn't like the results, because the man cast as the "Dad" "looked too much like the "Cockroach" guy from that movie, 'Men In Black.'"

NCC says SIM card registration ends June 30
By:

On: 06:36
Enugu – The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communication
Commission (NCC), Dr Eugene Juwah, has said that the nationwide
registration of Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards by the commission
will end on June 30.
Juwah made the announcement in Enugu on Thursday in a message to the 73rd edition of Telecoms Consumer Parliament organised by the commission.
The vice chairman, who was represented by the Director of Communications, Mrs Biodun Olujimi, said the commission would not extend the date for any reason.
According to him, any subscriber who did not register his or her number before the closing date will have the number invalidated.
He explained that the commission would commence the collation of the data for publication, adding that subsequent registration would be done by different telecom providers with approval from the commission.
Speaking on the theme of the parliament, `Mobile Number Portability: Benefits to Telecom Consumers’, the vice chairman said the service would allow consumers to switch from one network to another while retaining the current number.
He explained that the service would remove the trouble of moving around with multiple cell phones and encourage competitions among providers as well as reduce tariffs.
Juwah said the porting required registration of SIM card by the subscribers for security reasons.
“Without the registration, the network operators will not be able to identify a porting subscriber or confirm that such is the rightful owner of the number being ported,’’ he said.
Some of the consumers who spoke at the interaction lauded the programme but complained that the 90 days duration for porting was too long.
Miss Nkemdilim Nwagu, a student, said the service would reduce carrying of multiple handsets while Basil Peters, a youth corps member, said the issue of registering the SIM card again was hectic. (NAN)

Baba Suwe Loses N25 Million Award At The Court of Appeal

A panel of Court of Appeal judges in Lagos today set aside the N25 million compensatory damages earlier awarded Lagos comedian, Babatunde Omidina " Baba Suwe " over a prolonged detention by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) last year.
In the ruling, the Court of Appeal re-affirmed the right of the NDLEA to investigate, arrest, detain and prosecute drug suspects as long as the agency acts within the law.
The court said the NDLEA had not violated Mr. Omidina's rights because it sought and got court orders from the federal high court to keep him in custody after the arrested him on the suspicion that he had ingested hard drugs.
The Court of Appeal came down heavily on the Lagos High court judge that awarded the damages against the NDLEA, describing the decision as oppressive and burdensome to an agency of government carrying out its statutory duties.
Baba Suwe's attorneys led by civil rights activist, Bamidele Aturu, has vowed to take the matter before the Supreme Court.

BBA latest: Beverly battles tears at diary session
By:

On: 06:58
The Chase Housemates’ first Diary sessions were filled with a mix of emotions ranging from joy, to guilt to indifference.
Ruby Head of House, Nigeria’s Beverly was the most visibly emotional Housemate of all the Rubies. She got choked up when Biggie asked about her decision to save Bassey from the Eviction gallows and replace him with Natasha. “It’s not that I don’t like her, I have nothing against her,” the Nigerian dame insisted.
Bassey, who has no idea that he has been replaced in the list of
Eviction Nominees by Natasha, dished to Biggie about how he feels about
the Malawian. “Natasha is a control freak. She is most likely to have
clashes in the House,” he declared. But he was quick to clarify to
Biggie that despite her mother hen ways, he has bears no ill feelings
towards her and that he does get along with her and all of the other
Housemates.
Cleo was in a jovial mood during her diary session, she told Biggie that despite the fact that she did not come into the House with a strategy on how to win, she still believes that she will make it to the top. “I believe the money is mine,” she boasted.
The usually charming, Melvin played ‘Mr Cool’ and remained uncharacteristically subdued during his session and did not have much to say about his first few days in the Big Brother House.
What do you think of Melvin playing it cool and do you agree with Bassey that Natasha is a control freak?

If I’m not wrong, this will be the fourth time 2face will be escaping death. May God continue to protect him
Award winning singer and song writer Tuface Idibia, last Sunday narrowly escaped death while on board an airplane Lagos bound from South Africa.
It was a night flight and sources say the singer was listening to music from his iPod when he perceived a foul burning odor. The situation became more serious when the lighting system in the aircraft suddenly went off; and panic set in with some passengers whispering ”This plane is going to crash!”.
The captain then announced that the plane had developed an electrical fault and they were going to have an emergency landing. The plane had to turn around and head back to South Africa.
2face was spotted talking and calming his crew down, telling them not to panic. Miraculously, the tires came out and the plane successfully landed and the passengers were evacuated.
Thankfully the pop star is doing okay.

EXPOSED: I was persecuted because Atiku chose me as running mate – Alamieyeseigha
By:

On: 05:15
Former governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, has
attributed his travails over allegations of corruption to the power
tussle between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his vice, Alhaji
Atiku Abubakar over the 2007 presidency.
Speaking to newsmen in Lagos, Alamieyeseigha said he was persecuted by President Obasanjo because of the alleged plan by Atiku Abubakar to nominate him as his running mate during the 2007 presidential election.
The former Bayelsa State governor said his arrest and travails in London and Nigeria over allegation of corruption was political, promising to expose those behind his travail in his memoirs, which he is presently writing.
His words: “The summary of it is that Atiku Abubakar, according to Obasanjo, nominated me as his running mate. End of story. He (Obasanjo) said it was over his dead body and that he would fight me and Atiku to the end of the world. He said that unless he dies, Atiku could not be president of Nigeria. That was the beginning and the end of the story.
“Maybe the only mistake I made was that I left this country to Germany for medical surgery. Again, I made the mistake of calling him (Obasanjo) when I recovered from the surgery. I told him that I just came out from the theatre. I started having funny calls and they started plotting (against) me.”
“The whole thing was political and one day I will expose everybody. I have started writing; people are ignorant of what really happened, so they can talk. But if I open my mouth, some of them will keep quiet. I am going to tell my story.”
All attempts by Saturday Mirror to reach out to Chief Obasanjo on the allegation against the former President by Alamieyeseigha proved abortive as Obasanjo and his aides refused to comment on the matter.
Speaking on the alleged face-off between President Goodluck Jonathan and Rivers State governor and chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Alamieyeseigha cautioned Amaechi, asking him to learn from his own experience.
“I have told Amaechi himself that he should learn from my experience, that nobody tries government. He should learn that after God, it is government. Amaechi is in a regional government. There is Federal Government and there is a president and the Commander-in- Chief of the Armed Forces.
“Let me say that most of these things, the president himself may not know. It is people around that are creating this entire problem. If you call the two of them and sit them down, I am sure they would not be able to tell you what has happened between them,” he said.
He also had harsh words for those who criticised the state pardon granted him by the Federal Government, saying that the critics never knew what transpired behind closed doors leading to his pardon, but conceded that “people have the right to express their opinions.”
His words: “They don’t know the contributions I have made towards the sustenance of of peace in this country. May be the impact of my contribution would have been felt if there had been no oil and no money to share at the federal level.
“Because things are so rosy and at the end of the month they go to Abuja and share the money, they don’t feel the impact and don’t realise that people went into the creeks; slept in every camp to make sure that amnesty was achieved.”
He added that even President Obasanjo wrote him many commendation letters, congratulating him and thanking him for what he did, adding: “I risked my life by going as far as the high seas several times to rescue expatriates.”
